The excitement had been building – and now the time has finally come: Over the weekend, around 500 children of employees from 20 countries – including Albania, Estonia, Poland, Serbia, Moldova, Lithuania and North Macedonia – arrived in Austria. They are about to enjoy two exciting weeks filled with games, fun, new friendships and unforgettable experiences at VIG Kids Camp 2026.

The young guests received a warm welcome at the VIG Kids Camps in Vienna, Bleiburg (Carinthia), Leibnitz (Styria) and Radstadt (Salzburg). The programme features hikes, sightseeing, exciting excursions, as well as plenty of games and swimming. Once again this year, the children will also visit residential care homes for older people, creating meaningful encounters that bring generations and cultures together.

This year marks the 14th time that Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein has invited children of employees from Central, Southern and Eastern Europe to Austria. The costs of travel, accommodation, meals and the entire leisure programme are covered by Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein and VIG Holding.
