Sigma Vienna Insurance Group (Sigma VIG) announces the appointment of Ms. Teuta Zaiti Hoti as Executive Director of its Kosovo Branch, following the approval of her appointment by the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo (CBK), in accordance with the applicable legislation and regulatory requirements governing the insurance sector.

With more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, including over 20 years in leadership positions, Ms. Hoti brings extensive expertise in management, business development, life and non-life insurance, risk management, product development, and sales network management. This appointment reflects Vienna Insurance Group’s commitment to further strengthening leadership, corporate governance, and the long-term development of its operations in Kosovo, while supporting the company’s sustainable growth and creating value for customers, partners, and the wider community.

Professional Profile

Teuta Zaiti Hoti is an accomplished insurance professional with over 25 years of industry experience, including more than two decades in executive and leadership roles. Throughout her career, she has led key functions across life and non-life insurance, product development, risk management, sales network management, bancassurance, and health insurance.

Ms. Hoti has successfully managed major organizational transformation initiatives and business development projects, while also contributing to the institutional advancement of Kosovo’s insurance sector.

For more than a decade, she has played an active role in the professional development of the industry as a trainer at the Insurance Association of Kosovo, delivering licensing and professional development programs for insurance agents and company staff in accordance with the standards established by the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo.

She holds a Master of Science in Management and Informatics from Riinvest University and a Bachelor of Science in Insurance. Her academic background also includes studies in Dentistry at the University of Pristina. Additionally, she has completed numerous international training programs across Europe, gaining valuable insights into modern insurance practices, industry standards, and emerging market trends.
