With the aim of being an active contributor to youth education and community awareness, Sigma Vienna Insurance Group (SIGMA VIG) continues to support initiatives that encourage learning, creativity, and cultural development among younger generations. At a time when children are increasingly surrounded by technology, the company has chosen to bring attention back to the book – the traditional source of knowledge, imagination, and inspiration.
In this spirit, during June 2025, the staff of SIGMA VIG joined the special project “Book Club – Book Truck”, an initiative designed to promote a love for reading and to establish children’s reading clubs in several administrative areas of Tirana and beyond. The main objective of the project was to encourage reading habits, creativity, and communication skills among children aged 8–12, by engaging them in open and interactive educational activities.
As part of this initiative, SIGMA VIG contributed by donating packages of books, accessories, and educational games, specially prepared for the participating children. Company employees also joined the activities in Pezë, Shëngjergj, and Shkodër, where they distributed books, organized games, and read together with children. These moments created an inspiring experience that revived the joy of reading as a magical journey of discovery. Following the success of the first edition, the project continued during October–November 2025, when the SIGMA VIG team returned to the field to further support children in discovering the world of books through shared reading sessions and discussions about the messages and values that books convey.
This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of Sigma Vienna Insurance Group to support education, culture, and the development of young generations. By supporting projects that inspire curiosity and knowledge, the company helps build a community of young readers who value learning, creativity, and lifelong education.
