Understanding Risk – Educating and Empowering the Next Generation

In October 2025, Sigma VIG welcomed 8th-grade students from “Dëshmorët e Lirisë” School to its headquarters in Tirana as part of an educational initiative focused on risk awareness and financial education for youth.

The activity featured an interactive learning session designed to introduce students to the concept of risk, helping them better understand the challenges they may face in everyday life, as well as practical ways to manage and protect themselves from potential risks.

This initiative aimed to:

• raise awareness about risk and personal safety
• promote responsible decision-making from an early age
• support students in identifying their interests and talents
• encourage early career orientation and future planning

During the visit, students had the opportunity to engage directly with the Sigma VIG team and gain insights into the insurance industry, its role in society, and the career opportunities it offers. The session provided a practical perspective on how insurance contributes to risk management and financial security.
