Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) recorded a very successful financial year in 2025, marking strong growth in insurance premiums and a significant increase in profit. According to the preliminary results published on 12 March 2026, the volume of gross written premiums reached €16.3 billion, representing a 7.1% increase compared to the previous year. Insurance service revenue rose to €13.2 billion, up 8.7%, while profit before taxes reached €1.16 billion, or 31.7% more than in 2024.

The year 2025 marked a period of consolidation and sustainable growth for SIGMA Vienna Insurance Group, both in terms of total gross written premiums and across its key insurance segments, where the company significantly improved its performance compared with 2024.
