According to data published by the Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority (AMF) for the period January–May 2025, Sigma VIG recorded:

ALL 1.18 billion in gross written premiums (+6.23% compared to the same period in 2024).

ALL 442 million in claim payments (+3.43%), at a time when the total market’s claim payments decreased by -4.27%.

These results place Sigma among the top four non-life insurance operators in Albania, with a 12.98% market share in premiums and 14.77% in claim payments.

 

Motor Insurance as the Core Driver of Growth

In a market where motor insurance represents over 75% of total premiums, Sigma has built healthy growth supported by transparency and financial balance.

ALL 994 million in motor insurance premiums were written (+11.3% growth).

MTPL (Motor Third Party Liability) claim payments grew by +22%, a clear sign of Sigma’s commitment to its customers.
