The Story of Rajmonda – A Day of Hope and Solidarity
At Sigma Vienna Insurance Group (Sigma VIG), we believe that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in people’s lives.
This is the story of Rajmonda, a strong woman whose warm smile hides the many challenges she and her family face every day. Behind her calm appearance lies a story of perseverance in the face of economic hardship and health difficulties that have made it hard for both her and her husband to work.
Wanting to bring hope and joy to her family, Sigma VIG decided to offer support at the start of the new year. Through the contribution of our team, we provided clothing, food, toys, books, and a much-needed washing machine to help ease the family’s daily life.
Knowing that long-term help is just as important, our staff also bought chickens to create a sustainable food source and helped plant a small garden behind their home—turning the family’s backyard into a place of growth and renewal.
It was a meaningful day for everyone involved—a reminder of the power of compassion, teamwork, and the importance of appreciating what we have.
