Marie Kraja International Opera Festival – Elegance and Global Talent
The Marie Kraja International Opera Festival, founded in 1999, is the only event in Albania dedicated to promoting and developing operatic talent according to international artistic standards. In its 20th edition, held over three nights on the TKOB stage, 16 talented singers from around the world performed.
Designed as a grand spectacle, the festival delivered excitement and energy to an elite audience that appreciates and enjoys lyrical music. Moderated by Albanian soprano Enkeleda Kamani, journalist Blendi Salaj, and talented soprano Vikena Kamencia, the artists competed in two categories: arias and songs, performing pieces from the most renowned global and Albanian lyrical repertoire. Duet performances conveyed the unique magic and emotion of operatic music.
Sigma VIG supports this festival with the aim of promoting classical music and operatic talent, contributing to the enrichment of the city’s artistic life, and bringing elite art closer to the Albanian audience.
