Sigma VIG Supports Albanian Students in the European Road Safety Competition
As a leading insurance company, Sigma Vienna Insurance Group continuously promotes road safety and compliance with traffic rules. In line with this commitment, in September 2022, Sigma supported the participation of an Albanian team consisting of four students from “Servet Agolli” School in Pogradec and two coaches in the European Traffic Education Competition (ETEC 2022), held this year from September 24-27 in Zadar, Croatia.
This team had previously won the National Educational Competition “Safe on Two Wheels 2022”, organized across 10 cities in Albania, with the participation of 88 schools. Their participation and success in this international competition highlight the importance of traffic education and the role of companies like Sigma VIG in supporting initiatives that increase safety awareness and responsibility among young drivers.
Through this project, Sigma VIG actively contributes to educating the next generation on road safety, fostering a culture of rule-following and civic responsibility within Albanian communities.
