Sigma VIG proudly supports the project “Safe to School, Safe at Home,” organized by the Albanian Red Cross – Tirana Branch in cooperation with the General Directorate of Road Transport Services. The initiative focuses on educating 9-year school pupils about road traffic rules, safe behavior, and accident prevention—an essential step toward building safer habits for the next generation.
Children aged 10–14 learned about:
-
Proper pedestrian behavior
-
Road signs and traffic signals
-
Basic first aid skills in case of accidents
Volunteers from the Tirana Red Cross and experts from the Road Transport Directorate led practical games, simulations, and educational demonstrations, making the learning experience engaging, interactive, and easy to understand. Sigma VIG staff actively participated in distributing informative brochures and sharing safety tips with children during activities held near the schools “Protagonistët,” “Dhora Leka,” and at Sheshin Italia, where Firefighters and the State Police were also present. The enthusiasm, collaboration, and curiosity shown by students highlighted the importance of road safety education for today’s youth.
Sigma VIG remains committed to social-impact initiatives, especially those related to safety, education, and children’s wellbeing—continuing to inspire its team to contribute actively to building a safer and more aware community.
